SW Resources Golf Classic
The SW Resources Golf Classic will be held Monday, May 13 at Parkersburg Country Club. Registration begins at 10:15 a.m. with a a shotgun start at 11 a.m.
The Charity Golf Classic is a four person mix scramble and is limited to the first 30 teams, although individuals may enter and will be placed on a team. Entry fee is $200 per person and includes green fees, cart rental, lunch, and awards reception. Hole Sponsorship is $175.
Prizes include a hole-in-one automobile from Superior Toyota Hyundai; team prizes; prize for Closest to the Pin on all par 3 holes; and a putting contest.

Victory Awards Dinner Tickets
Tickets for this year's annual Victory Awards Dinner, which will be held May 5 at River City in Wheeling, are on sale.
Cost is $35 per ticket and can be obtained by contacting anyone on the sports staff.
Locally, Robert Dutton Award winner Gage Wright of Parkersburg South, House Award honoree Maxwell Molessa of Williamstown and Furfari Award winner Kim Caldwell, who was just hired as the head women's basketball coach at Tennessee, will be honored.

Mid-Ohio Valley Prep Baseball, Softball Stats
Area teams wishing to participate in the weekly Mid-Ohio Valley prep baseball and softball statistical leaders are asked to send in full season to date cumulative stats by 3 p.m. each Monday to jbennett@newsandsentinel.com and jholland@newsandsentinel.com.
