FOP Bowling Tournament
The local Fraternal Order of Police Blennerhassett Lodge 79 will have a "Back the Blue" bowling benefit at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 and at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 28 at Pike Street Lanes.
Proceeds will go toward various FOP projects. Lane sponsorship advertising and media wall advertising is available.
Entry fee is $25.

Baseball Umpires Needed
The Ohio-West Virginia Umpires Association is looking for new umpires for the upcoming baseball season.
There will be plenty of opportunities to work games for those who join the association.
Class will be starting in early February and some of it you can do online at your convenience.

Mid-Ohio Valley Prep Hoop Stats
Area teams wishing to participate in the Mid-Ohio Valley weekly boys and girls basketball statistical updates are asked to send in cumulative season stats by 3 p.m. each Monday to jholland@newsandsentinel.com and jbennett@newsandsentinel.com.
Teams also can submit qualifiers for the upcoming week.
Current cutoffs are 6.0 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.7 spg, 11+ blocks, 15+ made 3s, 65% FT and 43% FG.

Jackson MS Track Set To Begin
Jackson Middle School Track, boys and girls will begin Monday, Feb. 26, in the gym. Everyone may join. You must have a current physical on file or in hand to participate. Come dressed to run outside!
