Civil Air Patrol squadron conducts change of command

MARIETTA -- The Civil Air Patrol's Parkersburg Composite Squadron conducted a change of command ceremony on Feb. 6 at WASCO Inc. in Marietta.

Senior member Wilma Winter assumed command from 1st Lt. John Goodin. Col. Debbie Butler-Case, West Virginia Wing commander, presided, and the Wing's Vice Commander, Maj. Jason Hudak, spoke the tradition of the change of command ceremony.

Other guests in attendance were Wing Inspector General Maj. Sixto Velez and Wing Transportation Officer Lt. Col. Kathleen Dawson.

The Parkersburg Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the Air Force, meets 6 p.m. Tuesdays at its temporary location at 340 Muskingum Drive, Marietta.
