PARKERSBURG -- Artsbridge has announced the unveiling of a new art exhibit by Denise Harris, an accomplished artist originally hailing from Cleveland, who currently calls the Mid-Ohio Valley home.
The exhibition, showcasing Harris's exceptional talent and creative vision, will be on display at Artsbridge from February to late May.
Harris's artistic journey began with the showcasing of her initial works in a department store, setting the stage for a career that has seen her art featured in venues such as WesBanco, Parkersburg Art Center, and the Grand Central Mall. Known for her ability to draw inspiration from the world around her, Harris excels in capturing mood, playing with lighting, and skillfully layering acrylic colors to create a sense of depth and richness in her pieces.
"Denise Harris's work is a testament to the power of art to evoke emotion and transport viewers to new realms of beauty and imagination. We are honored to host her exhibition at Artsbridge and provide the community with the opportunity to experience the magic of her creations," said Kelsi Ullom, Program Coordinator at Artsbridge.
The exhibit promises to be a visual feast for art enthusiasts and the community alike, offering a diverse collection of Harris's masterpieces that showcase her evolving style and keen eye for detail.
From her early days in a department store to the venues she graces today, Harris's artistic journey is a source of inspiration for aspiring artists and admirers of fine art.
The exhibit will be on display from February through May at the Artsbridge office on Market Street. The lobby is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
