‘SpongeBob Musical’ coming to Actors Guild on Friday

PARKERSBURG -- “The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition” will open at 7 p.m. Friday at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg.
Nine performances are scheduled through Jan. 28. Shows, in addition to the Friday opening, are 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, Jan. 20, Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 and Jan. 28. Opening-night on Friday is nearly sold out, but plenty of tickets remain for the other shows at https://www.actors-guild.com/buy-tickets.html or by contacting the Box Office at 304 485-1300.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
“The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition” is a family-friendly version of a musical based on the Nickelodeon cartoon series “SpongeBob SquarePants” with SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and the rest of the Bikini Bottom community who discover a volcano will erupt and destroy their humble homes. Citizens join to save their undersea world.

Zach Gaston as SpongeBob SquarePants; Jack Peyton as Squidward; Grace Miller as Patrick Star; Willow Peyton as Sandy Cheeks; Nikolas Amos as Mr. Krabs; Ana Bennett as Pearl; Anthony Williams as Plankton; Mara Evans as Karen; McKenzie Barnett as Mrs. Puff; Henry Nicely as Old Man Jenkins; Zackary Lantz as Perch Perkins; Maggie Ice as the Mayor; Trip Parsons as Larry the Lobster.; The Ensemble will include Braden Barnett, Violet Barry, Titus Cheuvront, Imagin Daly, Parker Delbaugh, Adalyn Eichmiller, Alli Graham, Brady Lamp, Maria Mincey, Ford Schwendamen, Serenity Siegrist, Lena Skidmore, Brooklyn Smith, Mollie Smith and Shayanne Starkey.
Director is Natalie Bradley, assistant directors are Josh Woodard and Ashley Fluharty, music directors are Josh Martin and Pete Sour, choreographer is Jaliyah Townsend, costumer is Michele Santer, technical director is Ben Bradley, production assistant is Alice Lawrence and the adviser is Greg Merritt.
