SERVICES
* Rev. Francis Wade
Former Good Shepherd rector the Rev. Francis Wade, D. Min., will be the guest preacher at Good Shepherd's All Saints service at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 5.
A graduate of the Citadel and Virginia Theological Seminary, Wade has served as an Episcopal priest since 1966. He left Good Shepherd in 1983 when he was called as rector of St Alban's Episcopal Church, the parish church adjacent to the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
Since his retirement, Wade has served as interim dean at the National Cathedral, an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Theological Seminary and is active in a variety of church and community boards.
His sermons have been published in a variety of anthologies and he has authored several books. The church is located at 903 Charles St.
SALES
* Christmas Sale
A Christmas sale will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 10 and 11 at the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church Christian Fellowship Center, 1813 Rayon Drive.
The fundraiser by donation, but one area of select high-end items will be priced. Concessions and baked goods also will be available.
˜* Rummage sale
The Youth of Stout Memorial UMC, 3329 Broad St., Parkersburg, will hold a rummage sale at 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Family Life Center of the church off 34th Street.
All proceeds go to youth ministries of the church. The sale will be held
MUSIC
* The LeFevre Quartet
The LeFevre Quartet will perform at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Cornerstone Gospel Church, 3100 17th Ave., Vienna.

MEALS
* Baked Steak Dinner Drive Thru
The First Congregational Church, 318 Front St., Marietta, will hold its Baked Steak Dinner Drive Thru from 4-5:30 p.m. Nov. 4. Cost is $15. Dinners must be pre-ordered by calling 740-373-0741 by 11 a.m. Nov. 3. To pick up orders, drive into the First Bank parking lot north of the church and the order will be delivered to the car.
* Spaghetti Dinner
VIENNA -- Christ Lutheran Church, 4513 Grand Central Ave., will hold a free spaghetti dinner for veterans and their families from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Nov 10 in the fellowship hall.
