Meet the Candidates
BELPRE -- The GFWC Belpre Woman's Club will hold a "Meet the Candidates" event at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17, at the Belpre Elementary School gymnasium, 2000 Rockland Ave., Belpre.
The event is open to the public and will be an opportunity for candidates for Belpre City government to meet local constituents. The event forum will allow approximately three minutes for each candidate to state who they are, what office they are seeking, and give them an opportunity to let the citizens of Belpre know why they are seeking public office.
Following individual introductions and statements, a Q&A session will be held. Questions will be submitted in writing. The moderator for the evening will be Roger Sheppard, formerly vice president and general manager of WTAP-TV. Helping to facilitate this segment will be members of the GFWC Belpre Woman's Club. Candidates may stay and meet with constituents personally at the close of the event.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Wood County Christian School in Williamstown will hold its Fall Craft Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 28.
