PARKERSBURG -- A dedication ceremony for Izzy's Reading Corner on the second floor of Discovery World on Market will be held at 3 p.m. today.
"This opportunity came to us through a grant from the United Way Alliance of the MOV," Wendy Shriver, executive director of Discovery World on Market, said. "We love working with our community partners and are grateful to the United Way for helping us add a new literacy component to our museum."
The dedication will be followed by a live story time reading of "Pawpaw Is My Favorite Flavor" by Kaitlin Kulich. Light refreshments will be provided and every child in attendance at the museum on Friday will receive a free book to take home with them.
