Uncle Kracker, Johnny Staats to perform at Harvest in the Wood Festival

RAVENSWOOD -- The Harvest in the Wood Festival will be held today through Sunday in Ravenswood.

In addition to music, the Harvest in the Wood Festival features horse-drawn carriage rides, trackless train rides, a beer garden, a kids' zone, a tractor parade and chainsaw demonstrations.

Activities begin 3:45 p.m. today, 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday, all in downtown Ravenswood.

Singer, rapper and musician Uncle Kracker will perform 10 p.m. Friday. Among his multi-platinum recordings are "Follow Me" and "Drift Away."

The Johnny Staats Project takes stage at 6:15 p.m. Saturday and Johnny Staats and the Delivery Boys will perform 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Staats is a renowned mandolin player from Wood County. His albums have gained international notoriety.
