Mid-Ohio Valley marching bands prep weekend festivals

PARKERSBURG -- Three band festivals will be held this weekend in Marietta and Parkersburg.
The annual Band-O-Rama hosted by the Marietta High School Wall of Sound will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at Don Drumm Stadium in Marietta.
Participating bands and their schedules are:
* 5 p.m., Union Local Marching Jets
* 5:15 p.m., Morgan High School Marching Band
* 5:30 p.m., Indian Valley Marching Braves
* 5:45 p.m., Meigs Marauder Band
* 6 p.m., St. Clairsville High School
* 7 p.m., Belpre High School Marching Band
* 7:15 p.m., Crooksville High School
* 7:30 p.m., Fort Frye Marching Cadets
* 8 p.m., Tri-Valley Marching Band
* 8:15 p.m., Lexington High School Band
* 8:30 p.m., Point Pleasant High School
* 8:45 p.m., Lancaster High School Marching Band
* 9 p.m., Licking Heights Marching Band
* 9:30 p.m., Marietta Wall of Sound
Bands begin performing at 10 a.m. at the Parkersburg South High School Invitational at the Erickson All Sports Facility.
ROTC will present the colors and the Chamber Choir will sing the national anthem at 9:45 a.m.

The 2023 Jim Kessel Invitational at Parkersburg High School is Saturday afternoon.
