BELPRE -- The GFWC Belpre Woman's Club will hold a Meet the Candidates night at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Belpre Elementary School gymnasium, 2000 Rockland Ave.
This event is open to the public and will be an opportunity for municipal candidates in Belpre to meet constituents. Candidates will have 3 minutes to introduce themselves and why they are running for office.
A question and answer session will follow with questions to be submitted in writing. The moderator will be Roger Sheppard, former vice president and general manager of WTAP.
The Woman' Club will help facilitate the program. Candidates can remain afterward and meet with constituents.
