Author Presentation

PARKERSBURG — The co-author of “100 Things to Do in West Virginia Before You Die” will give a presentation noon-1:30 p.m. today at the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitors Center.

Melody Pittman’s presentation and book signing is in celebration of West Virginia Day today.

The bureau’s Visitors Center is at 113 Ann St. in downtown Parkersburg, next to the floodwall.

Drug-Free Picnic

Blennerhassett Lodge No. 79 Fraternal Order of Police will hold its annual Drug-Free Picnic for youth 6-9 p.m. July 28 at Parkersburg City Park. The picnic is free.
