Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet Company to host Fine Arts Day Camp

PARKERSBURG -- The 40th annual Fine Arts Day Camp sponsored by the Mid Ohio Valley Ballet Company and the Academy of Fine Arts will be held in June and July.
Fine Arts Day Camp will be held from noon-4 p.m. June 26-29 and July 10-13. Pre-registration is required by June 17.
Tuition is $95 per child and includes tuition and supplies. The family discount is each additional child from the same family will receive a $10 discount on camp fees per session, per child.
The camp instructs participants in dance, music, voice, dramatics and arts and crafts.
It is open to area children who are from 5-11 years old and have completed kindergarten.
Classes and activities are presented on age appropriate levels and each child receives individual attention. Camp Director Suzy Gunter plans and oversees activities with a staff from the Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet.
Camp is held in the Ballet Company studios at 1311 Ann St., the former Nash School, a Victorian style school house. The facility has dance classrooms, a video learning room, a lunch room, music rooms, fenced in outdoor play area and a mini-stage area in the remodeled gym where campers can practice their dramatic arts.

Registration forms will only be accepted by U.S. mail at: MOVB FADC, P.O. Box 4204, Parkersburg, WV 26104, or in person at the Ballet Company studios 1311 Ann St. from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 7. After June 7, registration is accepted by mail only through the deadline.
