BELPRE -- The Belpre Area Community Development Foundation Grants Committee will begin accepting applications on Saturday for the 2023 grant allocations.
Applicants must be 501 (c) (3) organizations located in Belpre, or the project must be in Belpre, or in Barlow, Belpre, Decatur, Dunham, Fairfield, Palmer, Wesley and Warren townships. Organizations outside the areas can submit an application if the project supports one of the areas listed.
A foundation application must be used. All information on the foundation application must be included and attached.
Go to the Belpre Area Community Development Foundation website to obtain the application or contact Kim Poole at jpoole8028@yahoo.com. The application will provide all the necessary instructions needed to complete it.
The foundation awarded $171,158 in 2022.
Organizations receiving grants in 2022 were the Amputee center, The Arc of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Belpre Area Ministries, Belpre Civitan Club, Belpre Performing Arts, Belpre Safetytown, Belpre Senior Center, Belpre XC Invitational, Washington County Boys and Girls Club, Children's Museum of the Mid-Ohio Valley, City of Belpre, BSA Belpre Troop 91, Consumer Credit Counseling of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Habitat for Humanity, Parents and Friends of the Hearing Impaired and the Right Path for Washington County.
