BELPRE — The Belpre branch of the Washington County Public Library held an escape room event Friday where participants worked together to find clues, put them together and find a way out.

Library manager Casey Copeland said they had an hour to accomplish three tasks in order to escape.

Participants had to put a puzzle together to find a clue, they worked with one another to figure out how to “disable the alarm” and even had to use their math skills to find the combination to the lock that would allow them to escape.

Copeland said there was a lot of interest in the escape room and the branch has plans to have another in April that would have a space pirate theme. She said to check the Belpre Public Library Facebook page for more details.

Starting at $2.99/week.
