Work begins on Market Street today

PARKERSBURG -- Work begins today on the third phase of the Market Street Enhancement Project, consisting of new sidewalk, Americans with Disabilities Act ramps and other features from 11th to 13th Street on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg.

The work is expected to take approximately 90 days to complete, weather permitting.

City officials ask the public to be patient and cautious of new temporary traffic patterns.
