BrAva Mom Prom hitting the dance floor April 21

MARIETTA -- Tickets for the eighth annual BrAva Mom Prom to benefit those affected by childhood cancers will go on sale online at 7 p.m. Feb. 26.
The prom will be held 7 p.m. April 21 at the Washington County Multipurpose Building in Marietta.
"We can't wait to welcome guests to this year's event, which is always an incredibly fun and meaningful way to raise funds for those in our area who are affected by childhood cancer," BrAva Vice President Erin Roberts said. "It was an absolute success to raise $49,000 at last year's event, the first since the pandemic, and we look to raise even more this year."
Tickets are $50 and will be available for purchase on Eventbrite where there will be a two-ticket-per-transaction limit. Buyers will need the first and last name, phone number, email and age of each attendee.
Admission tickets will be the only type for sale on Feb. 26.
Guests may purchase raffle tickets and luminaries beginning March 4.
The charity event seeks the support of moms and non-moms age 21 and over. The prom will feature a disc jockey, a coronation honoring mothers whose children have battled childhood cancer, a raffle and food and drink from local vendors.

BrAva is a nonprofit organization helping families affected by childhood cancer by providing funding and support. Since 2011, BrAva has given back more than $500,000 to local families and CureSearch.
