West Virginia DOH efforts leading to road closure, traffic delays

PARKERSBURG -- Wood CR 18/5, Winding Road, will be closed beginning 0.3 miles from Wood CR 18, Laurel Creek Road, at milepost 2.28 between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today and Friday for a culvert replacement.

The road will be closed, however, it will be open overnight and school buses will be accommodated.

Delays are expected on W.Va. 2 beginning today through May 31 on at milepost 4.43 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a bridge expansion joint replacement.

A traffic light will be used to maintain two-way traffic.
