VIENNA -- Several Mid-Ohio Valley students will advance to compete in the state science fair in Charleston after having the top projects in the Region 5 Science and Engineering Fair on Friday.
At the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna, students from Wood, Roane, and Calhoun counties competed in a diverse variety of events in biology, Earth science, engineering, and physics.
Those having the top projects from Friday's event will move on to compete March 7 at the West Virginia Science and Engineering Fair in Charleston.
