PARKERSBURG — Art students from Parkersburg South High School are participating in a show this month through Artsbridge at the Grand Central Mall.

The Parkersburg South art exhibit will be on display inside the mall in front of J.C. Penney through Feb. 26.

Featured will be the art created by art students in the ninth through 12th grades in Art 1-4 classes and advanced placement studio art classes.

Other planned student art exhibits are Belpre Schools in March, Warren Local Schools in April and Parkersburg High School in May.

Artsbridge and mall management have in the past collaborated on many projects to promote performing artists in the valley. Among those are Winter Music Series, the Canvas Project gallery, painting the walls and columns outside the mall to represent local schools, a mural outside J.C. Penney by Lydia White from Belpre High School, the Artist Walk in the fall and spring and elementary student ArtCart artwork.
