PARKERSBURG -- The Smith Orthodontics team is showing its appreciation by providing free braces to one of the many men and women who have been putting their lives on the line to keep the Mid-Ohio Valley safe.

Nathan Wood of Parkersburg has been provided free braces.

"Giving away orthodontic treatment is the perfect blend of community and professional service for me," Dr. Amy Smith, owner of Smith Orthodontics in Parkersburg and Ripley, said. "And who better to give it to than someone who works tirelessly to protect us, not just during the pandemic, but every day."

Wood visited the office to accept the free braces, meet the team and learn more about the process. He has started treatment and is looking forward to having an even better smile to share as he serves the residents of Parkersburg.

Smith Orthodontics provides complete orthodontic care, including braces, Invisalign, two-phase treatment and appliances. For more information, call 304 865-0000 to schedule a free exam or go to dramyortho.com to learn more.
