PARKERSBURG — Wood County Schools has announced the winners in this year’s Wood Whispers creative writing magazine.

The 2018 Wood Whispers winners by category and grade level are:

2nd: Ellie Raitz, “Mists of the Titans Yonder,” Parkersburg South High School.

3rd: Sidney Gandee, “King of Africa,” Parkersburg South High School.
