PARKERSBURG - It's the final countdown - to the 2026 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Readers' Choice.
Voting begins Wednesday and continues through Nov. 12 at newsandsentinel.com/readerschoice/ to determine the Mid-Ohio Valley's favorite fitness center, towing service and everything in between.
As always, those choices will be made by the readers.
They're the ones who nominated more than 2,100 businesses and organizations across more than 200 categories among 10 overall groups - Body and Soul, Entertainment and Travel, Food and Dining, Health, Homes and Garden, Kids and Education, Pets, Services, Shopping, and Vehicles - in August. Then they narrowed each field to five nominees in October.
Now, folks can vote once per day to determine the winner and two finalists in each category.
"This is what it's all been leading up to," said Lisa Northcraft, advertising manager for the News and Sentinel. "This is where our readers make their opinions known, and the winners are decided."
The results will be tabulated by an independent third party, with the winners and finalists to be revealed in December.
