The public is invited to attend the third annual Belpre Area Business Exchange from 4:30-6:30 p.m. April 29 at the Parkersburg Art Center at 725 Market St.
Hosted by the Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce, the event welcomes the public to meet with the various sponsors and organizations in attendance. Refreshments will be served.
According to a news release from the BACC, the theme for the event is Biz-opoly with a focus on networking and nonprofits. The businesses in attendance will share information about their company and any products they sell.
“This exciting event has become a tradition for us as organizer and presenter,” said BACC Executive Director Karen Waller. “We have had blockbuster events the past two years.”
Businesses, civic organizations and non-profits can purchase display spaces — $175 for non-BACC members and $125 for members. The display space includes a 6 ft. table and two chairs. Any additional set-ups must be approved by the BACC office.
“Our board of directors continues to examine the needs of area businesses plus listen to the remarks of last year’s participants,” she said. “We have adjusted sponsorships and display reservation costs to fit our participants’ budgets.”
Along with the theme of the event will be the “Business Exchange Monopoly Game Piece Call-Out,” which all guests, including business personnel, can participate in by visiting vendors to enter in prize drawings.
There will be free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
“The public, as well as all businesses, civic organizations, and non-profits are welcome to be vendors and guests,” said Waller.
First Settlement Physical Therapy Marketing Director and BACC Board of Directors President Kecia Barr invited the community to attend.
“This event is all about connection and collaboration,” said Barr. “We’re excited to give businesses the opportunity to showcase what they offer, build new partnerships, and find ways to grow together. When we support each other, we create a stronger, more vibrant Mid-Ohio Valley.”
