Pharmacist John Mourat was presented with a Distinguished Citizen Award on Wednesday by members of the Commandant Archibald Henderson Detachment 1087 of the Marine Corps League. Pictured, from left, are Bud Williams with the League, Mourat and Marine Corps League members Harold Smith and Jerry Smith. Williams said Mourat was recognized for his community involvement and the way he’s served others and conducted himself over 32 years at the Fruth Pharmacy in Mineral Wells.
