PARKERSBURG — The PM Company is accepting applications for its 2025 Spirit of Giving grant program through Aug. 30.
Organizations serving Wood and Washington counties can apply online at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation website at www.pacfwv.com/Grants.
Spearheading this year’s Spirit of Giving is Karmyn Conley.
“The Spirit of Giving is deeply personal for our family,” Conley said. “It’s a way to honor my father’s legacy while working hand in hand with our community to support the causes that truly make a difference. Every contribution from our local business owners, vendors, and partners is matched by The PM Company to help create lasting, meaningful change.”
The program was established on Oct. 21, 2011, by Pat Minnite Sr., at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and Regional Affiliates to promote community well-being through charitable giving. Since its inception, the fund has awarded nearly 300 grants totaling $916,000 to local nonprofit organizations.
The fund is financed by 500 donors. Every monetary gift is matched by The PM Company.
In 2024, the Spirit of Giving granted $100,000 to seven local nonprofit organizations to advance missions that provide vital services, education and outreach across the region.
“We are honored to administer this process for The PM Company,” Amy Nahley, senior program officer at the foundation, said. “Their continued investment in our community demonstrates a deep commitment to building a better Mid-Ohio Valley and supporting the essential work being done at the local level.”
