New Slice of Downtown Life: The Pizza Station rolls into Parkersburg with Third Street location

PARKERSBURG -- A ribbon cutting to celebrate the newest restaurant in downtown Parkersburg was held Friday morning at 430 Third Street in downtown Parkersburg.
The Pizza Station, located at the site of the former Third Street Deli, had its dining room open to the public at 10:30 a.m. Friday and offered speedy lunches from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then had a traditional dine-in experience.
The Pizza Station is currently open seven days a week, but the owner states that could change once they get settled in.
Serving homemade pizzas, pepperoni rolls, subs, salads, and desserts, they also plan to bring back a couple favorite items from the Third Street Deli menu as a way of paying respect to the restaurant which was a community staple for many years.
"We have served St. Marys and the local community for over 40 years, and wanted to bring that same small town feel and pride to Parkersburg," said restaurant owner William Sams. "We look forward to future partnerships, and friendships, that we will establish in the community."
They are excited to be able to start their second location and wish to thank their loyal customers. Sams said he is looking forward to meeting new customers and seeing the old ones, too. He wishes to thank everyone who made this happen.
