WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport held trunk-or treat Saturday at the airport.
Many associated with the airport and others set up stations where they gave candy to kids in costume for Halloween.
Airport Manager Ben Auville said the event saw more people this year than last year. Last year, the airport had just under 2,100 visitors for the event.
They were surprised by the turnout last year and were better prepared this year.
"The biggest thing that I think we did better this year over last is that we were prepared to handle the traffic flow and parking," Auville said. "This year we were close to 3,500. By 5 pm, we had 2,000 carloads of people."
