Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce holds Women in Leadership Conference

VIENNA -- The Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce held its 2024 Women in Leadership Conference June 27 at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna.

The theme of the event was "Grace in the Workplace."

Chamber President Jill Parsons welcomed over 300 attending the event.

There were three great speakers: Elizabeth Guarino from Ohio University, Maribeth Tanner, director of Community Foods, and Becky Stump, owner of Ethos Leadership Group.

There was a moderated panel discussion with Anne Silvis with panelists Dr. Shari Vance of WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and local businesswomen Kiki Angelos and Teri Ann (Zide) Brockett of Teri Ann's clothing store in Marietta.

Lunch was provided and followed by a purse and gift card drawing.

Upon conclusion of the day's event, Sharon Coffman, president of Zonta International Club of the Mid-Ohio Valley, presented Angelos with the 2024 51st Betty L. Hadler Woman of the Year award plaque for her volunteer service.
