Leavitt Funeral Services recognizes employee milestones

PARKERSBURG -- Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory celebrated and acknowledged important employee milestones during the company's quarterly employee meeting last week.
Owner Jon Leavitt said full-time employees Sean Plant (35 years), Karen Willey (15 years), Eric Koski (10 years) and Kelly Carr (five years) were acknowledged for their years of service, dedication and compassion to families served by Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory.
"Today we thank you for your passion, professionalism and dedication to the many families we have had the honor to serve over the years," Jon Leavitt said.
Part-time employees Mike Beckett (25 years), Lillie Satow (15 years), Hilda Singleton (15 years), David Habeb (10 years) and David White (five years) were honored at the same meeting, along with posthumous recognition of Jim Ruble (25 years) and David Knepshield (10 years).
"Our professional associates are the cornerstone of Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory," owner Stephen Leavitt said. "Their care, empathy and professionalism are why we have been in continuous operation for over 142 years."
Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory serves the communities of Parkersburg, Belpre, Vienna, Williamstown, Mineral Wells, Washington, Vincent, Lubeck, Little Hocking, Coolville and Barlow with locations in Parkersburg and Belpre.
The company was founded in 1882 and offers traditional burial services, cremation services, memorial services, pre-planning, grief resources, the Leavitt Reception Center facility, pet crematory services and more.
