PARKERSBURG -- The Mid-Ohio Valley community has nominated their favorite establishments throughout the area. Now the voting to narrow the field will begin.
Voting in Parkersburg News and Sentinel Readers' Choice Awards opens Friday. Readers can choose from the top five nominees in 206 categories that fall under 10 groups: Body and Soul, Entertainment and Travel, Food and Dining, Health, Homes and Garden, Kids and Education, Pets, Services, Shopping and Vehicles.
Votes can be cast online at www.newsandsentinel.com/readerschoice/. Readers can vote once per category per day up to Oct. 12.
Once the final five in each category is determined, another voting round will take place from Nov. 10-16. This round will choose the winner and two finalists. The winners and finalists will be announced in print and online Dec. 15.
Voting will be overseen by an independent third party.
