PARKERSBURG -- The Kreinik Manufacturing Co. has reopened its Factory Outlet Store at 1708 Gihon Road.

Kreinik, internationally known for its products, closed the outlet and ceased factory tours in March 2020 because of the pandemic.

The company makes silk and metallic threads for needlework, crafts, fashion, costume, film and fly fishing industries. Kreinik threads have been used in fashion houses including Kate Spade for movie costumes in "Game of Thrones" and "Hocus Pocus 2."

Hours of the store are 9-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Wednesday at the outlet where needlework and fly fishing items not found in stores, overstock, discontinued items, cones, larger put-ups, fabrics and needles, among other items, are available.
