CHARLESTON -- Girl Scout cookie sales started on Thursday by the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond as part of this year's Fall Product Program.
"If you've had a Girl Scout Cookie, you know how delicious Girl Scout products are," said Beth Casey, CEO of Girl Scouts of Black Diamond. "They are great and make perfect gifts for friends and family. And all the while, you're supporting Girl Scouts to help them learn goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics and people skills."
The Fall Product Program launches online and includes nuts and candy, chocolate covered pretzels, pecan caramel supremes, chocolate covered raisins, dark chocolate sea salt caramels, English butter toffee, fruit slices, honey roasted peanuts and honey vanilla cashew halves, among others.
Select specialty items also come packaged in a seasonal tin for holiday gifts.
The sale will include magazine subscriptions such as "Vogue," "Bon Appetit" and "Better Homes & Gardens and two new products, Tervis Tumblers and Bark Boxes for four-legged Girl Scout fans.
Girl Scouts sell these products through online storefronts and physical order cards. Contact a local Girl Scout to place an order.
