PARKERSBURG -- WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center has been designated High Performing in a 2023-24 ranking by U.S. News & World Report.
Camden Clark was ranked High Performing in the areas of COPD, diabetes, heart failure and stroke in the Procedures and Conditions category.
Among WVU Medicine hospitals, J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantow was named the top hospital in state and 41st in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for obstetric and gynecological care.
U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 21 procedures and conditions. Twelve percent of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals ranking, meaning they excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
In the Specialties category, Ruby Memorial was recognized as High Performing in cancer, neurology and neurosurgery and urology.
According to the U.S. News & World Report Hospital Data Insights, WVU Heart and Vascular Institute was the highest ranked heart program in the state.
