PARKERSBURG — The Peoples Bank Foundation has made donations to The Arch of the Mid-Ohio Valley and to After the Disaster.
The foundation has donated $1,000 to After the Disaster, a group founded by Joy Buskirk that assists people in need following devastating situations. The organization will collect essentials and take them to local fire departments that will distribute the items to those in need.
After the Disaster has expanded to seven counties in West Virginia and Washington County in Ohio. For more information, go to afterthedisaster19.com.
“Peoples Bank is proud to support After the Disaster, which provides basic necessity items to individuals and families after experiencing a terrible event. We are happy we can help After The Disaster and their amazing work,” Kevin Eagan, Peoples Bank senior vice president and vice president of Peoples Bank Foundation, said.
The foundation donated $3,276 to The Arc. The mission of The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley is to ensure a satisfying and productive life for the citizens they serve with intellectual, cognitive and related developmental disabilities and their families. The organization is committed to helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential.
