He has been a marketing consultant for ESPN for 12 years in Cleveland where he volunteered as a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, sat on the advisory board of "A Kid Again" and served on the steering committee for Cleveland Clinic-Velosano.

Greene, the manager of business development for Ohio Bobcat Sports Properties in Athens, is the son of Randy and Melanie Greene of Belpre.

The Joe Burrow Foundation launched in 2022 and evolved from the speech Joe Burrow made in December 2019 upon being named the 85th winner of the Heisman Trophy.
