WVU Medicine Camden Clark acquires Ohio Valley Health Care

PARKERSBURG — WVU Medicine Camden Clark has acquired Ohio Valley Health Care in a deal finalized Friday morning, officials said.
Camden Clark and Ohio Valley Health Care hosted a formal signing ceremony to finalize the acquisition of the skilled nursing facility at 222 Nicolette Road.
The hospital announced plans to acquire Ohio Valley Health Care earlier this year with the transaction to be completed on Friday.
Ohio Valley Health Care is a 66-bed senior community and skilled nursing facility serving families since 1951. The current Ohio Valley Health Care leadership team will continue to oversee the skilled nursing facility, with plans to maintain staff employment, and provide a seamless transition for residents and their families.

The Miller family’s mission for more than 70 years was to provide the highest quality care, Administrator Jay Miller said.

Camden Clark is a 302 licensed-bed, not-for-profit, acute care facility serving an 11-county region of 250,000 residents of West Virginia and Southeastern Ohio.
