Hall Financial Advisors Teacher’s Closet distributes classroom supplies

2 min read

MARIETTA -- About 150 elementary teachers from Wood and Washington counties on Feb. 4 celebrated the fourth annual Hall Financial Advisors Giving Foundation Teacher's Closet in Marietta.

Supplies were hand-delivered to the teachers' vehicles by the Hall Financial Advisors children and staff. Teachers who responded for the classroom supplies giveaway received personalized bags tailored to their needs and the subjects they teach.

"Hall Financial Advisors has philanthropic goals. We make a conscious effort to give back to our community," Chris Hall, founding partner and CEO of Hall Financial Advisors, said.

The only source of revenue for the foundation comes directly from Hall Financial Advisors, he said. The foundation does not accept donations and does not distribute donations funded by other organizations, Hall said.

"We would not be in the position to have the foundation if it were not for all our great clients who work with Hall Financial Advisors," Hall said. "Our clients truly make this endeavor possible. Giving back is a high priority. We make a deposit into the foundation before we pay salaries, or cover rent and utilities."

Hall's wife, Kim, Hall, leads the Teacher's Closet project each year.

"We are really grateful for the teachers in the area and what they do for our children," she said.
