MARIETTA -- An informal open public meeting on injection wells and the impact on water sources will be held 7 p.m. Monday at the Freedom Gate Church, 104 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta.

The meeting, organized by residents concerned with the effect by the injection of waste from drilling operations, is in response to a June 2 public meeting sponsored by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management at St. Ambrose Catholic Church concerning an application for a Class II disposal well in Little Hocking from Arrowhead Road Services.

Responses to questions asked at the June 2 meeting will be read at Monday's meeting. The responses were sent only to the questioners at the June 2 meeting.

The meeting is open to Ohio and West Virginia residents, an organizer said.
