Parkersburg resident joins management team at Langham Logistics
INDIANAPOLIS — A Parkersburg woman has been named to the expanded management team at Langham Logistics of Indiana.
Leah Harris has been named the director of business development for life sciences at Langham, a third-party transportation logistics, warehousing and distribution company based in Indiana.
“Leah is a fantastic addition to the Langham team, and we look forward to leveraging her expertise and strategic mindset to continue to grow and service our life sciences transportation and distribution business,” said Cathy Langham, CEO of Langham Logistics. “Leah is a customer-focused leader with extensive experience providing custom solutions to solve challenges in the cold chain industry.”
Harris has 15 years experience in helping customers and leveraging partnerships in the global pharmaceutical and life science market.
She began her career at Caron Products, a pharmaceutical laboratory equipment manufacturer based in Marietta, where she was director of marketing. She spent the last seven years at ELPRO, a Swiss-based laboratory, warehouse and transportation temperature monitoring solutions company where she was responsible for various roles over the years including product management for innovation, global sales trainer and channel partner manager.
“I have a passion for this industry and its commitment to deliver safe and effective medicines, therapies, diagnostics and medical devices to help patients,” Harris said. “To support the mission of the life science industry, it requires exceptional supply chain solutions, and Langham Logistics is on the forefront as an incredibly innovative, customer-centric company with a dynamic team ready to meet customer requirements and exceed their expectations. I am thrilled to join this group and contribute to the business expansion and continued success.”
Harris resides in Parkersburg with her husband, son and three dogs where she and her family are outdoor enthusiasts, enjoying the Mountain State and its world-class outdoor adventures and activities. She will be serving Langham’s Life Science business development world-wide.
In addition to the growth in leadership, Langham Logistics has opened three new warehousing facilities in the past two years in California, Arizona and Indiana. Much of the expansion is to align with the company’s life sciences services growth strategy.
