Coplin Health supports Ravenswood Youth Program
RAVENSWOOD — A local health facility has donated $4,000 to the city of Ravenswood for the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program.
The donation from Coplin Health System was from proceeds raised from the annual Coplin Health Dash for Diabetes 5K race. The check was presented to the city by Sarah Barton, senior projects manager, on behalf of Coplin Health System.
“As members of the communities that we serve, Coplin Health not only works to keep our patients healthy, but we are also honored to be able to support vital community programs, such as the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program,” Rob Dudley, Coplin Health Systems CEO, said. “A special thank you to the participants of our annual Dash for Diabetes, as their generosity increase each year, allowing us to support more community programs.”
In addition to supporting the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program, proceeds from the Dash for Diabetes also purchase diabetes education kits to assist patients in managing their chronic condition.
The 2022 Dash for Diabetes will take place on June 11 and will be held at Riverfront Park in Ravenswood. For more information and to register for the race, go to coplinhealth.con/5k.
