PARKERSBURG -- A new vice president of marketing services has been named at iTech, a local technology services provider.

Tim Brunicardi will be responsible for developing new marketing services for iTech, which currently offers IT services, security systems and Xerox printers and copiers.

Brunicardi was recruited based on both his leadership experience and local ties, iTech President Mike Williams said.

"Tim is a proven and accomplished marketing professional," said Williams. "His leadership and local relationships will be a significant asset in helping iTech to continue to grow as the technology leader in the area."

Brunicardi brings a wealth of marketing experience to the iTech team. Most recently he served as the executive director of marketing, public and community services for Hocking College.

Prior to that, Brunicardi spent several years in health care marketing, serving as the area director of marketing and communications for Providence Health in California and as the director of marketing and public affairs for Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.

iTech's new marketing services will offer website development and optimization, SEO, social media, strategic planning and public relations.

"I'm proud to be a part of the leading technology services provider in the area," said Brunicardi. "Having led highly successful marketing efforts in health care and higher education, I'm looking forward to leveraging my marketing experience to make iTech a one-stop source for documentation, IT, security and, now, marketing."

According to Brunicardi, iTech's marketing service is much needed in the area for businesses who may not have their own marketing departments and need help developing strategies for success.

"iTech's philosophical focus is to provide services for businesses who need help with a range of technology services including IT, security, documentation and marketing from a trusted and knowledgeable team of professionals," said Brunicardi. "We can provide peace of mind, so businesses can focus on their bottom line."

A part of Brunicardi's interest in joining iTech was the company's location in downtown Parkersburg.

"iTech President Mike Williams' commitment to the revitalization of downtown Parkersburg proved to be an added incentive for me to this accept this opportunity," said Brunicardi. "During a time when we're seeing many older buildings vanish from the local landscape, Mike purchased the former Parkersburg Office Supply facility at 5th and Avery Streets, allowing this historic edifice to continue to be a vital hub of activity in downtown."

In addition to the Parkersburg location, iTech has offices in Marietta, Athens and Lexington, Ky.

Brunicardi is a graduate of West Virginia University with a master's in English and a graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor's in English. A native of Parkersburg, he resides in Washington, W.Va., with his wife, Linda.
