XPO Logistics president to speak at webinar
MARIETTA — XPO Logistics President Troy Cooper, a 1991 graduate of Marietta College, will participate in a webinar of the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley at noon March 9.
Cooper, who earned a bachelor’s of arts in accounting from Marietta College, will speak about “A C-Suite View of Transportation and Logistics.” Anyone interested in attending should register online in advance.
Cooper also is on XPO’s European supervisory board. Prior, Cooper held several key roles on XPO’s executive team, including chief executive of XPO Logistics Europe, chief operating officer of the company’s global operations, head of the transportation segment and vice president of finance.
Previously, he held senior management roles in finance with two public companies, United Rentals Inc. and United Waste Systems Inc., where he worked with XPO CEO Brad Jacobs to build leading North American networks for equipment rental and solid waste management.
Cooper began his career working in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and Co.

The Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley is a non-partisan non-political educational organization formed in 1982 in a collaboration between the Business and Economics Department at Marietta College and a business, civic and educational leaders. The object of the Roundtable is to promote an interest in and to enlighten its members and others in the community on important governmental, economic and social issues.
