Jordan Williams joins Leavitt Funeral Services
PARKERSBURG — Jordan Williams has joined the staff of Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory as a licensed funeral director.
He will provide families with a full range of at-need services.
“Jordan’s personality is a perfect fit for working with families during grief. He has a deep passion to serve and anyone that meets him feel an instant connection,” said Jon Leavitt, co-owner. “Growing up in this community, he has a great desire to care for those around him.”
Born in Parkersburg, Williams graduated from Parkersburg High School in 2010. After high school, he earned a bachelor’s of arts in music arts with a minor in audio engineering from Alderson Broaddus University.
After apprenticing at Leavitt, Williams went to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
“I have always been passionate about people and their life stories. Guiding and directing bereaved families as they tell their story fills me with a sense of accomplishment that no other profession can,” Williams said.
Williams attends the North Parkersburg Baptist Church and enjoys composing, performing music and woodworking.
