Great American Home Show coming to Vienna

VIENNA -- Area homeowners planning a variety of projects in the coming year will have the chance to examine a wide range of products and services available locally at the 2019 Great American Home Show.
Organized by the Home Builders Association of the Mid-Ohio Valley and sponsored by Wincore Windows and Doors, this year's Home Show will be Feb. 8-10 in the former Sears building at the Grand Central Mall.
Hours are 5-9 p.m. Feb. 8, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Feb. 9 and noon-6 p.m. Feb. 10. Admission is $3 for adults with children admitted free.
The Home Show will conclude with a live auction at 5 p.m. Feb. 10. Rob Fouss of Fouss Auctions & Appraisals will be conducting the auction for three Wincore Window & Door packages with a retail value of $5,000 each -- the packages can be all windows, a combination of windows and doors, or all doors. Each package is auctioned separately and cash or check payments are accepted upon the close of the bids.
Trish McKay, executive officer for the Home Builders Association, said the show has been taking place for over 30 years and will have a variety of exhibitors from the building industry trades -- contractors, remodelers, HVAC companies, licensed electricians and plumbers, landscape companies, soft water companies, property maintenance, masonry suppliers, and more.
"It's a perfect time to talk with an industry expert to get valuable information and guidance on your project, the latest information on new trends and products, and to schedule an appointment before the busy start of the building season," she said.
Last years attendance at the show was approximately 4,500 people during the three-day event, McKay said.
