Records – Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG – The following reports were released by Wood County Magistrate Court in early May:

* A charge of illegal possession of wildlife, fox, was dismissed against Rachel Joy Way, 646 Mill Run Road, Parkersburg, following the successful completion of a deferred sentence agreement. Two other counts of illegal possession of wildlife and one count of marking of traps were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* Caleb Evan Vincent, 2323 Cypress St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to unlawful removal, injury to or destruction of property and was sentenced to one year in jail, to be served concurrently with a separate sentence in a felony case. A charge of escape was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* A charge of carrying a deadly weapon without a provisional license or other authorization by someone under 21 was dismissed against Brayden Matthew Ash, 604 21st St., Vienna, following the successful completion of a deferred sentence agreement.

* Christie Marie Hersberger, 2526 21st Ave., Apt. 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and was assessed $186.48. A charge of expired motor vehicle registration was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* Alan Wayne Scott Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault and was sentenced to 20 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $176.48.

* Charges of malicious or unlawful assault and gross neglect of a child creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury were dismissed against Skylar Wesley Bland, 345 Valley Mills Drive, Parkersburg,after he completed services in a companion case.

PARKERSBURG – Wood County Magistrate Court recently released the following reports on May 12:

* Eric Tyler Blass, 1809 20th St., No. 3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of false pretenses and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jaron D. Cunningham, 1510 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of a violation of a protective order and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Shane Andrew Salyers, 1300 Forest Hills Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Jonathan Wayne Clay, 427 Fourth Ave., was arraigned on charges of possession of controlled substance, failure to signal, no proof of insurance and no motor vehicle inspection. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Zackary Alan Johnson, 712 Orchard St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of fleeing while driving under the influence and child neglect resulting in injury. He was held on a $20,000 surety bond.

* Zackery Shane Murphy, 286 Berkley Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and held on a $15,000 bond.

* Corey Wayne Ashbrook, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance, and held on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Megan Lynn George, 1500 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, obstruction, failure to process, assault of a police officer, battery of a police officer (two counts) and disorderly conduct. She was held on a $3,500 surety bond.

* Alexandria Nicole Anderson, 157 Dickens Drive, Apt. 7, Mineral Wells, was sentenced to 120 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after a deferred sentence agreement was unsuccessful. She was assessed $176.48.

* Probable cause was found against Hunter Levi-Marshall Prall, 1403 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, on two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Manuel Lawrence Ellis, 504 34th St. Apt. 1, Vienna, had preliminary hearings waived on two counts of first-offense sex offender registration – life registrant false or inaccurate information.

* Megan Yuvonne Lauderman, 6305 ½ Liberty St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving while suspended(miscellaneous), knowingly operating a vehicle without required insurance and operating a vehicle without evidence of registration and was assessed $844.44. As part of a plea agreement, charges of operation without certificate of inspection and failure to display registration plates securely and legibly were dismissed.

* Jorge Luis Santos Jr., 602 2nd St., Brooklyn, N.Y., pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence, was assessed $351.48 and was sentenced to six days in jail, already served. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of driving while suspended or revoked was dismissed.

* Timothy James Newbrough, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to one count of petit larceny, was sentenced to 60 days in jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation with credit for eight days served, and was assessed $606.48. As part of a plea agreement, a charge for unlawful removal, injury to or destruction of property was dismissed.

* Mark L Mclung, 1247 E. Poplar St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to one count of expired registration and was assessed $181.48.

* Bridget Nicole Polsley, 914 20th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to one count of speeding 10 mph or less in excess on highway and was assessed $181.48.

* Joel Paul Inman, 55 Branbury Court, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to one count of speeding, 107 mph in a 65 mph zone, and was assessed $201.48.

* Tera Sue Lively, 300 Ivy St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of prohibited person with a firearm and held on a $7,500 surety bond.

* Dale Roger Thorn, 893 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving while suspended and held on a $500 surety bond.

* McKayla Rene Winters, 106 Chateau Hills Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Celoria Pearl Simpson, 1110 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charges of shoplifting, for which a $500 personal recognizance bond was set. She was also arraigned on charges of shoplifting, no operator’s and possession of a controlled substance from a capias warrant and ordered held without bond.

* Ryan Michael Williams, 606 Schultz St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Larry Michael Snider, 39 Stump Drive, Sutton, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* John Edward Boston, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* April Rain Brennan, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery and destruction of property and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Bryan Allen Hackney, 2516 Clement Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing on foot, obstructing and attempting to escape and held on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Marion Delbert Sweeney Jr., 825 Seventh St. (House to Home), Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of indecent exposure and public intoxication and was held on a $600 surety bond.
