Congratulations: Earley & Binner

Ashley Elizabeth Earley and Micky Halston Binner
Ashley Elizabeth Earley and Micky Halston Binner were united in marriage on May 4, 2024, which is also known as Star Wars Day at Willowbrook in Volant, Pa. Pastor Timothy Cinnamon of Parkersburg officiated the outdoor ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Aimee Earley of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Donald and Margaret Earley and the late William and Eileen Higbee. She is a 2009 honor graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2013 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s of science degree magna cum laude in interior design. Ashley is employed at Arhaus Furniture in Shadyside, Pa., as the visual manager.
The groom is the son of Eric and Caroline Binner of Natrona Heights, Pa. He is the grandson of Arlene Binner of Tarentum, Pa., and the late Carl Binner, and the late S. Gene and Mary Jo Pleva. He is a 2010 honor graduate of Highlands High School in Natrona Heights and a 2016 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s of science degree cum laude in chemical engineering. Micky is employed at Plug Power in Canonsburg, Pa., as a senior process engineer.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents for the processional to the song “When You Say Nothing at All.” Ashley wore an off-white full length bohemian style gown embroidered with appliques and spaghetti straps. She wore a matching cathedral length veil as a gift from her maternal grandparents. She carried a bouquet of colorful spring flowers with a necklace belonging to her maternal grandmother attached to it.
The flower girl was Arlene Binner, grandmother of the groom, who scattered dried petals from flowers given to the bride from the groom throughout their courtship.
The matron of honor was Hannah McLendon of Kernersville, N.C., friend of the bride whom she met at the University of Sunderland in England when she studied for a semester abroad. Bridesmaids were Brittany Wolfe, friend of the bride of Vienna, Ellie Binner, sister of the groom of Cheswick, Pa., and Katie Zimmerman, sister-in-law of the bride of Raleigh, N.C. They wore individually chosen blue jay colored full length dresses and carried spring flowers.
The best man was Nicholas Dileo, high school friend of the groom, from Charleston, S.C. Groomsmen were Justin Jacobsky, college friend of the groom, of Greensburg, Pa., Josh Ippolito, future brother-in-law, of Cheswick, Pa., and David Earley, brother of the bride, of Raleigh, N.C. They all wore gray suits, white shirts and ties that matched the bride’s attendants.
Jocelynn Higbee, cousin of the bride, gave readings during the ceremony. The processional following the double ring ceremony was the song “I Do.”
A reception with dinner and dancing followed the ceremony at Willowbrook. On display at the reception were bridal headpieces worn by the bride’s mother, the bride’s maternal grandmother, also the groom’s mother and paternal grandmother on their respective wedding days. Following the reception, the newlyweds left under an arch of lighted Star Wars swords formed by the wedding guests.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, including the islands of O’ahu and the Big Island of Hawaii, the couple resides at their home in Bridgeville, Pa.
