Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Church

Mariah Hope Martin and Andrew Kyle Church of Mineral Wells were united in marriage on Saturday, May 23, in the gazebo setting at the Four Seasons at Hocking Hills in Logan, Ohio. Pastor Derek Mills officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rebecca Martin of Ellenboro and Jeffrey Martin and Angela Harkness, of Waverly. She is the granddaughter of the late Velda Bradley Jones and H. Gene Jones; the late Jack A. Martin Sr. and the late Nancy Collins Martin; the late Creed Flanagan and Carol Nichols Flanagan.

The groom is the son of Catherine Houck of Parkersburg and Gregory Church of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the late Reeder Houck and Mary Houck; and Linda and Gerald Church.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Shayla Lawrence McGuire as her matron of honor. The best man was David Jeffrey.

The bride attended Ritchie County Schools and is a 2013 graduate of St. Marys High School in Pleasants County. She attended Potomac State College. She is employed at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Mid-Ohio Valley as a representative payee.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He was in the Army National Guard from 2013-2015. He received a Regents Bachelor of Arts from West Liberty. He earned his master’s degree in public administration from Marshall University. He is employed at the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services. He is also an assistant coach at Parkersburg South High School in the Wrestling Program.

A reception was held in Wakley Hall at the historic Smoot Parkersburg.

The couple honeymooned in the Song Bird Cabin at Hocking Hills in Logan. They will reside in Parkersburg.
