Adams-Bias

Ashley Danielle Adams and Nathaniel Lee Bias were united in marriage on June 20, 2015, at The Maylon House in Milton, W.Va.

Tom Bowen officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rob and Cathy Maas of Parkersburg and Don Adams of Washington, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Patricia Roush and the late Eugene Roush of Parkersburg and the late Don and Carol Adams of Washington, W.Va. She is a 2006 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2011 graduate of Huntington School of Beauty Culture. She is employed as a master stylist at Fiesta Salon, Regis Corp., in Teays Valley, W.Va.

The groom is the son of Trina Bills of Ona, W.Va., and Randy Bias of the Phillipines. He is the grandson of Pat Cremeans of Huntington and Dan and Pat Holland of Stuart, Fla. He is also the grandson of the late Leo and Rosanna Bias. He is a 2007 graduate of Wesley Chapel High School and a 2014 graduate of Everest University. He is employed as a certified medical assistant at Charleston Area Medical Center.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted to the altar by her stepfather. She wore a strapless Vera Wang textured organza ball gown draped bodice, with a split-front overlay and asymmetrically draped tulle skirt and sweep train in the color sterling. The sash featured hand-cut organza and tulle flowers with crystal embellishments. She wore a custom-made silver cathedral length veil with lace and beaded edging by Isabella Couture of North Hollywood, Calif. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, blue and purple orchids and hydrangea. Pinned to her bouquet was an antique brooch belonging to her late great-great-grandmother, Iva Kemp.

Christina Dotson, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor, attired in a teal, above the knee, one-shoulder satin dress. Kayla Lowers, friend of the bride, attired in a royal purple, above the knee one-shoulder satin dress and Sabrina Adams, sister-in-law of the bride, attired in royal blue, above the knee, one-shoulder satin dress served as bridesmaids. They carried bouquets of white roses accented with colors matching their respective dresses.

Ava Bias, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl. She wore a custom-made silver tulle ball gown with scattered crystals and sweep train. Her gown was accented with a royal blue bow in back featuring crystal embellishments. The gown was designed and made by Isabella Couture of North Hollywood.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with sterling vest and a miniature white calla lilly boutonniere.

Ryan Vickers, cousin of the groom served as best man. Matt Bias, brother of the groom and David Adams, brother of the bride, served as groomsmen. The gentlemen also wore black tuxedos with vests of teal, royal purple and royal blue. Their boutonnieres were white roses.

Dylan Adams, one-month old nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer and was carried by his father, David Adams. He wore a black, custom-made infant tuxedo with royal blue vest and bow tie.

A reception was held following the ceremony in the Morrison Grand Ballroom of The Maylon House and featured an Italian dinner buffet.

The four-tier white wedding cake was adorned with royal blue and purple orchids cascading down the layers. Two tiers were embellished with teal ribbon and crystals. The cake was topped with the bride’s toss bouquet and featured a script, crystal B.

Following a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Culloden, W.Va.
