Connie and Larry Drain

Larry and Connie Drain of Washington, W.Va., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 28, 2025. Larry is the son of Don and Ruth Drain of Parkersburg, W.Va. Connie is the daughter of the late Lester and Geneva Wigal. They have been blessed with four daughters: Julie Drain, Stacy (David) Prunty, Christy (Kris) Gillespie and Katie (Shawn) Brooker and five grandchildren Tyler Shelton, Dominic Brooker, Sophi Horadan-Prunty and Morgan and Easton Gillespie. The family invites people to join them in celebrating their golden anniversary from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Hopewell Church of Christ.
